(hereafter referred to as “offer”).

The legal guidelines for data protection are included in the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Legislation - BDSG) and the Telemediengesetz (Telemarketing Legislation - TMG).

The provider (or their webspace provider) collects data relating to every time their offer is accessed (known as server logfiles). The access data includes:

name of the website visited, file, date and time of the visit, volume of data transferred, notification of a successful visit, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (site previously visited), IP address and the querying provider.

The provider only uses the protocol data for purposes of statistical evaluation for business reasons, security and to optimise the service. However, the supplier reserves the right to check the protocol data retrospectively should there be reasonable grounds to suspect illegal use based on concrete evidence.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information which enables a person to be identified, i.e., information, which can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number. Personal data includes data regarding preferences, hobbies, memberships or information on which websites were viewed by someone. Personal data are only collected, processed and re-forwarded by the provider to the extent that this is legally permitted or if the users consent to the data collection.

When contact is made with the supplier (for example via the contact form or email), the information provided by the user is saved for the purposes of processing the enquiry and also in the event that there may be follow-up questions.

Inclusion of services and content from third parties

It may occur that third-party content such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are included in this online service. This always assume that the content provider (in the following “third party provider”) knows the user’s IP address. This is because the content cannot be sent to the individual user's browser without the IP address. This means the IP address is needed to display the content in question. We make every attempt to use the type of content where the supplier only uses the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence over the third-party provider storing the IP address for statistical purposes, for instance. If we becomes aware of this, we will notify the user.

They also help record statistical data relating to website use, and aid analysis to help improve the service. The user can control the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option which allows the user to restrict or completely prevent the saving of cookies. However, we must point out that general use and in particular the user experience, may be restricted without cookies.
